Codeworks is built by Loopware LLC. Codeworks does not upload your code to Loopware. The app has no Loopware account system, and it does not send product analytics or usage telemetry to Loopware today.

What Codeworks sends to Loopware

Update checks. Codeworks periodically contacts our update server to check for updates (Sparkle). Like any web request, this exposes your IP address and standard request metadata (app version, macOS version) to our hosting provider's logs. We don't use it to identify or profile you. You can disable automatic checks in Settings.

Support and diagnostics. Crash and diagnostic data stays local unless you choose to email it to support. Codeworks does not automatically upload files, project contents, or edit history to Loopware.

Connections you initiate

Codeworks can run tools and network operations at your request. Git remotes and provider commands may send source code, commit data, credentials, or repository metadata to the provider you configured. Language servers, package registries, debuggers, terminal commands, and other language tools may read or transmit project data according to their configuration.

Those connections are between you and the selected provider or tool. Their terms and privacy policies apply. Review a tool's configuration before connecting it to a private project.

The feedback board

Posting on the feedback board needs no account. Posts and any attachments you add are public once reviewed; the optional follow-up email is stored privately and never shown. Voting stores a random device identifier, not your identity. The board runs on Supabase, our database provider.

Purchases

This site does not offer a checkout unless a merchant link is explicitly configured. Payments are processed on the merchant's page, not by this site, under the merchant's privacy policy. Loopware receives the order information needed for license delivery and support. Do not send payment details by email.

Support

If you email support@codeworks.sh, we keep the correspondence so we can help you. That's it.

Changes

If Codeworks ever adds optional diagnostics or telemetry, it will be off by default, explained here first, and clearly labeled in the app.
