Codeworks grew out of a preference for Mac-native tools: direct keyboard behavior, familiar windows, and an editor that participates in the system instead of merely running on it.

We built a focused alternative. Codeworks is written in Swift and designed around macOS, from keyboard shortcuts and windows to text input and system integrations.

It isn't trying to replace Xcode. It's for everything else you build: the web project, the quick script, or a side project in a language Apple never shipped a template for. It supports many languages through syntax grammars and language-server connections.

Codeworks builds on MIT-licensed open-source foundations and keeps their required notices intact. The commercial app is developed by Loopware LLC. Questions and bug reports are welcome at support@codeworks.sh.
